Waverly South Riverside Masterplan
This redevelopment plan builds upon the comments generated by an engaged public committee to transform an underutilized city park on a former rail yard into a riverfront destination. Artwork depicting the vision was a collaboration between lead architect Larry Kurtz and Dan Hatala.
Phasing recommendations aim to grow the park in stages as the community sees the site's potential. The first step is host local events and possibly relocating the Waverly Farmers Market to the park.

Bremer Avenue Streetscapes - Waverly
Streetscapes involve many practical and functional elements such as conduits, lights, benches and TREES. The objective is to make your street unique and programmed to attract people traffic and calm automobile traffic. With many communities opting for elaborate brick or stylized concrete patterns, the use of painted crosswalks by local artists depicting local themes offers a colorful alternative. This type of project naturally wears out so it can be updated and made fresh with changing times.
These renderings for Bremer Streetscapes in Waverly propose such an option.
